After the European Championship in women’s football, UEFA selected five German players for the top eleven of the tournament.
The German national team advanced to the final at the European Championships in England, but then lost 2-1 to the hosts after extra time.
Giulia Gwinn, Marina Hegering, Lena Oberdorf, Alexandra Popp and Klara Bühl were elected to the eleven that UEFA announced on Tuesday. This means that Germany has the most players. Four players from tournament winners England made it into the selection.
