Erwin Mulder continues his football career at Go Ahead Eagles. The 33-year-old goalkeeper signed a contract for one season with the Deventer on Tuesday. Mulder comes from sc Heerenveen, where his expiring contract was not extended. Mulder previously played for Feyenoord, Excelsior and Swansea City.
“If possible, I want to remain in professional football until my fortieth birthday. Although it must all be physically possible, of course. But standing on the field as a keeper is the best thing there is,” says Mulder.
Jeffrey de Lange and Sven Jansen are the other goalkeepers in the selection of the first team of Go Ahead Eagles.
