Champion! Taylor (16) beats mom at European Championship slingshot shooting

The European Championship for slingshot shooting was held in Roeselare. The Roeselare region has been known for its strong slingshot shooters for several years now, mainly thanks to the Plysier family. Both papa Koen, mama Kelly and daughters Taylor and Gibsy are therefore medal candidates in their category. Top talent Taylor in particular is very successful. In the women’s final she easily takes the gold medal, and she resolutely refers mama Kelly to second place. Today, slingshot shooting is not yet an Olympic discipline, but there is lobbying for it behind the scenes. Who knows, maybe we’ll see Taylor shine at the Olympics one day.
