Police are concerned about the tourist because he only had a liter of water with him. Two photos of the 1.92 meter long Dresden have been released.
Anyone on the island with relevant information about the missing person is requested to report this to the police. Since Wednesday, an extensive search for the man has been carried out by police, volunteers, soldiers and park rangers. Use is made of, among other things, the helicopter of the Coast Guard and drones with thermal imaging cameras from a local nature organization.
Police say no phone signal from the man was found. The search area was further expanded on Friday, to the nearby areas of Santa Cruz and Knip.
