The Hills series, which ran from 2006 to 2010, was also popular in Finland. Actress Audrina Patridge starred in the series for all six seasons.
Patridge recently published a book Choices, in which he recalls the twists and turns of his life. In his book, Patridge reveals the reason why he and the other main star of the series By Lauren Conrad the gaps were broken in time. The two haven’t spoken to each other since filming the show, apart from one quick run-in.
– Unfortunately, my relationship with Lauren didn’t last. Lauren doesn’t really talk to the cast of the series.
– There are many reasons why he and I are no longer friends. There was a lot of friction between us that we couldn’t talk about at the time. It resulted in me moving out of the house we lived in together with her and Lon with. It may have seemed sudden at the time, but in reality the situation had been going on for a long time.

Patridge says in the book that even though he and Conrad shared the same management office, Conrad kept getting better job opportunities than him. Patridge complained about it to his agents, but at the same time his friendship with Conrad also suffered.
– I also noticed that Lauren used to be very controlling with her friends. If you were one of his friends, you had to do and say things the way he wanted. Otherwise you were out of his circle, Patridge insists, saying he didn’t want to dance to Conrad’s whistle.
In the book, it is claimed that the two had an argument even over the same opinion. Patridge was an on-off actor Justin Bobby Brescia with throughout the series. Patridge believes that Conrad also had a whipping trade with him.
– When Justin and I broke up, Lauren ran into him in Las Vegas. According to my good friend, they started dating. When I heard this, I felt so betrayed, Patridge recounts.
The actress says that Conrad and Brescian did not agree to answer her questions about whether the rumors are true. When Patridge and Conrad finally spoke, Conrad accused Patridge of being paranoid.
– He got angry with me. Lauren and I were never friends after that.
Rumors about the relationship between Conrad and Bresciani also spread to the public at the time. However, Conrad denied the claims on his MySpace account.
