Let them all go: the outrageous posts of politics

In the last weeks publications of different officials went viral They gave a lot to talk about. Who manages these accounts? Why do they publish what they publish? Is there a goal behind? A review of the most striking posts and the effects they generated.

On July 17, Claudia Janinat that time Deputy Director of Tourism of the Municipality of Rivadavia, province of Mendoza, shared on her personal Facebook account an image in which she claimed the dictatorship and made reference to the kidnapping of people in our country.

In the montage, the faces of Sergio Massa, Axel Kicillof, Alberto Fernández and Cristina Kirchner were seen in the trunk of a car Green Ford Falcon with the message: “The wish of all Argentines for good”. The publication was deleted by Jaunin but it was too late: the screenshot had gone viral and ended up generating the rejection of the ruling party and the opposition in that province.

Only 12 hours after the publication, the Mayor of Rivadavia, Miguel Ángel Ronco, removed her from office with a statement through his Twitter account: “Given the facts of public knowledge that involve the Deputy Director of Tourism, Claudia Jaunin, I have made the decision to remove her from office that performs. In the same act, I repudiate any action that claims or endorses the darkest stage of Argentine history.

A day later, the publication of another Mendoza official also caused a stir. this time it was Humberto MingoranceSecretary of Environment of the province, published a photo of homeless people sleeping in the headquarters of the Partido Justicialista de Mendoza and added: “Headquarters of the Mendoza PJ. Nothing to add”. Immediately deleted the tweet but, as always happens in these cases, it was already too late. Today Mingorance is still Secretary of the Environment and did not make any statements about his posting.

The most famous case was that of Gabriela Ceruti, spokesman for the Presidency of the Nation. On July 20, he signed up to participate on social networks in a raffle for a personal vibrator organized by the group “La Revolución de las Viejas”. Your clitoris is your best friendgive him a present!”Said the post that was uploaded for Friend’s Day.

The presidential spokeswoman signed up to win it and swept the journalist away Nancy Pazos and the singer Patricia Malanca. After the controversy that originated, the publication was deleted. Cerruti uses his Instagram account in a very personal way (@gabicerru) although she also shares acts in her role as an official. In addition, in May of this year, she created another parallel Instagram account (@portavoz_ar) to limit herself to publishing on that profile only questions related to her role as presidential spokesperson.

Controversies of the week

But not only politicians and politicians made “striking” publications from their social networks, they were also made from institutional accounts. The Municipality of Rio Gallegosfor example, posted on his Facebook page a raffle to travel to the World Cup in Qatar in November with a round trip ticket, tickets for the first three games of the Argentine National Team, and half board. What do I have to do to participate? Take photos with politicians. Yes, you read right.

From August 1, to join the draw, you must take photos with the Secretary of Production, Commerce and Industry of the Municipality of Río Gallegos, Moira Lanesan Sancho; deputy Eloy Echazú; the former governor of Santa Cruz, Daniel Peralta; merchant Ricky Victoria; the craftsman Miguel Avendaño; businessman Santiago Gómez; the Secretary of State for Commerce and Industry, Leandro Fadul; the photographer José “Pato” Silva; the DJ Gisel Duarte; or with Adolfo Cader, from the Liga de los Barrios.

To participate in the contest, interested parties must print the photo and put the personal data on the back. Then, you have to answer three questions: “What do you like most about Río Gallegos? What do you like most about the current management? What is your suggestion about what is still missing in the capital city? ” The Mayor of Río Gallegos, Paul Grassowho also spread the draw from his Twitter account, had to go out and give explanations: “With the subject of the trip we never said that the municipality was going to pay for it with public funds. This will attract different companies that will finance the initiative”. The news of the draw had already gone viral.

All these cases lead us to analyze and remember a fundamental aspect: you can never miss a digital political communication strategy. And common sense, something that seems to have been forgotten by many officials and teams in recent times. Digital responsibility is important because the networks, and the voters, do not forgive and discredit with politics continues to grow.
