Rossoneri and Bruges as close as ever: the aim is to close between today and tomorrow. For the attacking midfielder a five-year contract not far from 2.3 million per season
The negotiation for Charles De Ketelaere is probably at the final turning point. Milan in yesterday’s match raised its offer to Bruges and now they aim to close between today and tomorrow, considering that Bruges seems absolutely willing to take the decisive step. A closure of 31 million plus 4 bonuses is possible, a solution that satisfies the Belgian club, very tough until the end in the tug-of-war with Milan. Both sides now hint at optimism. Deal not yet done – there is still a definitive agreement – but much closer: De Ketelaere in the Rossoneri would sign a five-year contract not far from 2.3 million per season.
The step forward

In short, the Belgian had never been so close to Milan as he is today. His will and Milan’s decision to take a substantial step, the one carefully evaluated for days, were decisive. Pioli could therefore have the player available for the return trip to Austria. Milan will play tonight at 7pm against Wolfsberger in Klagenfurt, the penultimate international friendly of their summer preparation.
