The Noordenveld Transport Foundation for the Elderly receives a subsidy of almost 43,000 euros from the Noordenveld municipality to make two new buses wheelchair-friendly.
Two of the three buses in the possession of the foundation have now been written off. In order to maintain the vehicle fleet, two new buses have been purchased to be able to transport vulnerable elderly (55+) and residents with a disability.
The first new bus has now been delivered. The second is an electric one and will probably be in Noordenveld by the end of this year.
