In the afternoon of July 15, Fransje Mulder succumbed to the effects of lung cancer in Arendonk, Belgium. And so the life of a flamboyant bird-of-paradise with baroque features, an interior designer and restorer of antiques, but above all acclaimed for the artistic frames, “loved” the paintings of her eleven years ago, the internationally renowned pierrot painter George van Herwaarde (1938-2011).
