User opinion SV Meppen: Hope for commitment and commitment under Kramer

Fan series for the 3rd division

With the help of the community, Transfermarkt will take a detailed look at the 56 teams in the Bundesliga, Bundesliga 2 and Bundesliga 3 in the coming weeks. Which players are the fans looking forward to the most, where is there room for improvement and what is in the squad for 2022/23 for your favorite club? For this we asked around in the forums and picked up assessments – in league three we continue with user “andres14” and SV Meppen.

How do you rate the SV Meppen squad?

Lars Bünning’s departure hurts a lot, but it was to be expected. Furthermore, players have left the club who commuted between the starting eleven and the bench. What is striking about the newcomers is that, with the exception of Marvin Pouríe, they all fall below the U23 limit. This significantly rejuvenated the team. I hope that this fresh cell cure will also make itself felt. More speed, more commitment and commitment on the pitch. That was what was lacking in the second half of the season. Since Undav, I’ve seen Pouríe again as a goalscorer who can sometimes score ten or more goals.

Where do you see a need for improvement by Deadline Day?

So far the squad is well filled. It’s also exciting how the young newcomers acclimate to the 3rd division. Most are playing professional football for the first time. But another defender can’t hurt. Yannick Osée can defend both in the middle and on the right. However, he has often struggled with injuries in recent years. Another replacement would make sense. Until September we have to watch Marcus Piossek and Willi Evseev as they come back to the team after their injuries. Otherwise, the midfield has to be refilled.

What do you expect from the playful appearance of the team?

The team should play with a clear plan again, with commitment and dedication. Plowing, fighting and biting, that’s what the viewers want to see. That the ass is busted, lost balls are chased. So passionate football with dirt on your face, then the fans feel good. I think that Stefan Krämer can convey that to the team. He wants to give the team a mix of different factors so that the fans can identify with them again. Intensity, fast runs and his own will are his main focus. At first glance, that doesn’t sound so bad.

What’s in it for SV Meppen over the entire season?

The newcomers have to get used to the pace in the third division as quickly as possible. In addition, the weakness must be remedied by standards. So many goals conceded, so many points lost. I’m already sweating at every set against the SVM. If Pouríe then scores the goals up front, a midfield place should be assured. But that should be the highest of feelings. It would still be desirable to approach every game (especially the cup games in the Lower Saxony Cup) as if there were no tomorrow. This is a quick way towards the DFB Cup and additional income, which you can always use in Emsland.
