The 2022 F1 season is halfway through. So it’s a good moment to give credit to the early season’s winners and losers.
Iltalehti’s F1 editors Juuso Taipale and Janne Palomäki shared lions and sheep in the F1 studio about the events of the early season. Each listed three lions and three lambs.
The leading teams in the series Red Bull, Ferrari and Mercedes are on the list, but perhaps not in the places that many would expect. Valtteri Bottas has been one of the happiest surprises of the season, and the delivery didn’t need blue-and-white glasses to verify this. But on what grounds were the lions awarded to Bottas?
Lions and sheep are also distributed to other than drivers and stables. The biggest lamb katras is pushed on the shoulders of a very unpleasant mild phenomenon. I hope it gets fixed soon.
