School vacations nourished the billboard of Buenos Aires with innumerable initiatives for the entertainment of what are now called childhoods and their families. Given the impossibility of consigning them all, here is a new and very tight summary of options.
At the Opera Orbis, “The Adventures of Peppa Pig”, the official show of the endearing pink pig with her friends, friendly characters full of energy and activity where camaraderie predominates. Classes start here and they meet at school with their beloved Miss Gazelle in a fun meeting place where they will learn many new things. Directed by Adrián Di Bastiano, it is offered daily at 11 am.
“The Secret of the Dragons”with songs from Charlie Garcia, which is seen at the Metropolitan Sura, on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, at 3 pm, brings together Nico, Fatiga and Vicky, three teenagers who have a rock band.
At the Cervantes National Theater it premiered “Family No Kind and the evil cloud”, written and directed by Mariana Chaud and Gustavo Tarrio, which combines stories invented in real time, songs and humour. From Wednesday to Sunday, at 3 pm, until July 31, and from August, Saturdays and Sundays.
A sensitive and emotional story that speaks of friendship, love, tenderness, and the bond with animals, poses “Ana and Wiwi”. The Lorena Romanin show goes on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, at 4:00 p.m., at the 25 de Mayo Cultural Center in Villa Urquiza. In this area dependent on the Ministry of Culture of the GCBA, there is also “Dream” by Emiliano Dionisi with agile texts and a great physical display, in a reversal of “A Midsummer Night’s Dream” by Shakespeare, which will be offered on Friday 22, Sunday 24, Friday 29 and Sunday 31, at 4 p.m.
Finally, the Catalinas Sur Theater Group of La Boca offers a program with voluntary admission to the cap: on Friday the 29th and Saturday the 30th there will be a performance of “Crianzas, el musical” by Valeria Grossi with music by Carlos Gianni, where through the language of musical theater and using tenderness, invites to enter and reflect on diversity. In addition, on Sundays 24 and 31, “With Bird’s Eyes” is presented, a new puppet proposal, always at 4:00 p.m.
