Kate Middleton’s first parasol
The Duchess of Cambridge, 40, often uses it on vacation on Mustique Island, but her first outing with a parasol took place in 2012, in the intense heat of Singapore, during an official tour with her husband William. For the occasion, she chose a cream-colored one, in Asian style and resistant to UV rays.
Duchess of Cornwall: “Now I fly away like Mary Poppins!”
Charles’s wife and future queen consort couldn’t help but joke with her subjects during her recent visit in the sweltering but breezy Cornish heat. Her parasol with wooden sleeve and cream-colored fabric also stood out during a garden party in which she attended with her husband but had been also used by the duchess in her travels to the East, Africa and Australia.
Kate Middleton and Camilla as Elizabeth and Margaret
