Local resident Raymond van Schijndel was the first on the scene, tried to help the woman, but no longer felt a heartbeat.
Rotterdam – The Rotterdam district of Charlois is sighing under a spiral of violence. While the neighborhood still mourns the stabbed baby Emily, it hits the same street again on Friday morning when a 47-year-old woman is found dead in the street after falling from a window. A 50-year-old man was seriously injured. Neighbor Raymond van Schijndel, who gave first aid to the victim in vain, is concerned: “Where the hell is Charlois going?”, the 52-year-old Rotterdammer expresses the feeling of the neighborhood residents.
