The U.S. parliamentary committee investigating the January 6, 2021 storming of the Capitol is going ahead longer than originally planned. The committee was supposed to finish work in September, but as new information becomes available every time, the committee will work longer, chairman Bennie Thompson said Monday evening (local time).
