Beşiktaş News: Josef De Souza: I will be back stronger very soon

Beşiktaş announced that Brazilian player Josef De Souza will undergo surgery for a lateral meniscus tear in the right knee. Josef, who was injured in the Werder Bremen match played in the Austrian camp and expected to be away from the fields for 2-3 months, shared a statement from his personal social media account.

Stating that he had to have surgery, the experienced player said, “We can’t win every battle, but not winning doesn’t mean we lost. I fought hard not to have to have this surgery, but unfortunately sometimes things are not under our control. However, the beginnings are not always; the ends are important. I’m sure that every season this season I will finish strong and solid as always. With the honor of being strong again, I will continue to play football, which is my favorite thing to do. I thank our doctors and healthcare team for their efforts to help me recover without surgery, but unfortunately I have to have surgery. Now is the time to look ahead. I’ll be back stronger very soon!” used the phrases.
