We do not recommend it in full sun, but with a parasol or large sun hat you can last on the Noord Aa beach. We also do not recommend swimming in the Zoetermeerse Plas: there is blue-green algae in the water. But perhaps you can briefly dip your feet in the cooling water.

When the weather is nice, we tend to go outside. But with that heat, an air-conditioned room also sounds very attractive. Look in the film agenda and buy your ticket for the cinema in the Stadshart. There you sit comfortably sheltered with a cool drink and a bowl of popcorn for your sniff.

Cooling off at the pool

The temporary outdoor pool on Van der Hagenstraat will be open this summer. There are three small pools where you can cool off. An entrance ticket costs 6 euros.

Do you want to cool off with your little one? Then you can also visit the wading pool next to the Palenstein shopping center. At the rear of the flat on Johan van Bourgondiëlaan is a small paddling pool with a lawn around it. A nice place to sit and let the little one play.
