Record champions probably agree with de Ligt – new offer to Juve

Apparently there is movement in the next transfer from FC Bayern – but Juventus continues to prove to be a tough negotiating partner.

Is FC Bayern’s next transfer hammer about to be completed? The German record champions want to sign defender Matthijs de Ligt from Juventus Turin, the Dutchman should also definitely want to go to Munich – and now everything could apparently go very quickly.

Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has already reported: Bayern and de Ligt have already agreed that the 22-year-old should sign a five-year contract – and there should also be progress in the talks with Juve. However: The Italian record champions should insist on a transfer fee of between 70 and 75 million euros. A decision should be made in the coming week.

Romano’s colleague Gianluca Di Marzio is now even reporting: Bayern have already increased their offer for de Ligt to 70 million plus bonus payments. But the “old lady” is still not completely satisfied with the offer from Munich. However, Di Marzio also confirms that both sides should continue to come closer and that it shouldn’t be long before an agreement is reached.

De Ligt would significantly strengthen Munich’s defense after the departure of Niklas Süle. The central defender appeared in 42 competitive games for Turin last season, scoring 3 goals and playing 1 assist. The Dutch international is said to have already informed Juve that he absolutely wants to switch to Bayern. De Ligt moved from Ajax to Italy in 2019 for 85.5 million euros, and even then numerous top European clubs were interested in the defensive player.
