Appointment Attorney General at the Public Prosecution Service | News item

Mr. ARE Schram will become a member of the Board of Procurators General at the Public Prosecution Service. The Council of Ministers has decided to nominate him on the proposal of Justice and Security Minister Yeşilgöz-Zegerius. The appointment will take effect on October 1, 2022.

Mr. ARE Schram is currently the Chief Public Prosecutor at the Functional Public Prosecutor’s Office. In 2000 he started working for the Public Prosecution Service as a public prosecutor at the public prosecutor’s office in Rotterdam. Four years later, he started working at the National Public Prosecutor’s Office. There, Schram became a senior officer in 2007 and deputy chief officer in April 2012. From 2014 to 2017 he was Attorney General of Curaçao, Sint Maarten and Bonaire, Sint Eustatius and Saba. From 2017 to 2019, he was Chief Public Prosecutor at the Northern Netherlands Public Prosecutor’s Office.
