US President Joe Biden has called for a two-state solution to the conflict between Israel and the Palestinians. That remains the best way to achieve security, prosperity, freedom and democracy for both peoples, he said on Friday after a meeting with Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas. Biden fears that the conditions for starting new Palestinian-Israeli peace talks have not yet been met.
