Amine Harit released, change is approaching

Bundesliga club FC Schalke 04 only welcomed offensive player Amine Harit back to team training last week. Now the Moroccan has left the Revierklub again – this time probably for good.

For weeks, the future of S04 professional Amine Harit has been puzzled. The midfielder is too expensive for the salary structure of the promoted team. FC Schalke 04 must therefore find a buyer for the 25-year-old this summer, although the new head coach Frank Kramer has recently been very impressed by his qualities. He spent last season on loan at Olympique Marseille.

As “Sky” reports, Amine Harit was not present on Thursday at the club’s first Blue and White Night since 2019, which Schalke organized as part of the training camp in Austria. Rather, Harit had been released for transfer talks with another club. It is unclear which club it is.

Recently there was speculation about a move to the top Portuguese club FC Porto. According to the “fussballtransfers.com” portal, the Turkish clubs Trabzonspor and Galatasaray as well as the Spanish clubs FC Sevilla and FC Villarreal are also possible addresses.

FC Schalke 04 presents eleven newcomers

Schalke sports director Rouven Schröder recently emphasized again during the training camp that some players must be handed over for the squad conversion this summer. Only then could further new obligations follow. With central defender Alex Král, the Royal Blues have already presented eleven newcomers.

In addition to Amine Harit, Ozan Kabak is also one of the farewell candidates in Gelsenkirchen. The Turkish centre-back was last loaned out to Liverpool FC and Norwich City. The two Premier League clubs ultimately refrained from signing Kabak.
