Zalando without Germany boss Florian Jodl

Germany boss Florian Jodl has left Zalando after more than 10 years with the company.

Jodl and the Berlin online retailer have been going their separate ways since July 1, Zalando confirmed to the Swiss trade journal Handelszeitung.

He has been in charge of Germany, Austria and Switzerland (DACH) since April 2021, according to his Linkedin profile. Overall, he held various management positions in the company for more than ten years. He joined Zalando in May 2012 from the management consultancy McKinsey & Company and took over the position of Vice President Zalando Men. It is not known where the manager will go. From Berlin it is only said to the Handelszeitung that it was “time for something new” for him.

Successor already found

The fashion retailer has already found a successor for the DACH line. The platform reports that it will not be announced until autumn who it is. The only thing that is clear is that this is a person who has been working for the company for a long time.
