Juventus Turin’s coach Massimiliano Allegri is not worried about the Italian record champions even with a possible move from Matthijs de Ligt to FC Bayern.

The coach stressed that he was happy with the way Juventus officials were handling the transfers. “If De Ligt were to leave, the club is ready to replace him in the best possible way,” said Allegri.

De Ligt is training well, the 54-year-old continued. There was a meeting with Bayern on Monday, “but at the moment de Ligt is still a Juventus player. I train the ones I have.”

According to Italian media reports, Juventus want to get at least 90 million for De Ligt. Bayern are reportedly offering around 60 million plus bonuses for the 22-year-old centre-back, who has been playing for Juventus since the summer of 2019. He had moved there from his training club Ajax Amsterdam.

Bavaria’s sports director Hasan Salihamidzic had confirmed talks with Juve about signing the defender for the first time on Monday. “We were there and talked. Now let’s see,” he told Sky Sport News and BILD.

“It’s always important to talk”

Salihamidzic kept a low profile about further details. In response to a question, he said he could not say how likely it was that the transfer would take place. “I’d like to say that, but I can’t. Now let’s see what happens. It’s always important to talk. Let’s see what comes of it,” said the sports director.
