A scooter rider was killed in an accident on the Wielewaal in Geldrop in the night from Tuesday to Wednesday.
The victim crossed the road at a crosswalk and was hit by a car. According to a 112 correspondent, the scooter rider died on the spot. An air ambulance was called but ultimately did not land.
The driver of the car was not injured. He was checked in the ambulance. The man would have been arrested.
