Highsnobiety Appoints New Editor-in-Chief

Highsnobiety has appointed Willa Bennett as its new editor-in-chief.

In this position, she oversees all editorial activities of the streetwear platform from the New York office, Highsnobiety announced last week. She is responsible for all of the platform’s locations in this area – Berlin, Amsterdam, London, Milan, Los Angeles and Sydney.

Bennett joins Highsnobiety from menswear magazine GQ, where she was responsible for the social team and strategy. She is also active on the Diversity & Inclusion Council at GQ publisher Condé Nast. Prior to GQ, she was active in social, video and audience development at Seventeen Magazine.

“Highsnobiety is such an important voice in fashion and culture, and I’m thrilled to be leading the brand into an exciting new era,” said Bennett.

Thom Bettridge, who held the position of editor-in-chief until May, has switched to fashion platform Ssense, according to his Linkedin profile. He works there as Head of Creative and Content.
