Denmark has booked a small victory against Finland at the European Championship in England on Tuesday. Pernille Harder scored the only goal in Milton Keynes, giving the Danish women every chance to continue in Group B.
Finland, which lost 4-1 to Spain in the first group match, is all but eliminated, while the Danish women started with a painful 4-0 defeat against Germany.
The pressure was therefore full for both Finland and Denmark, which reached the European Championship final in 2017. In the end, a goal in the 72nd minute from thirty-year-old Harder, who is under contract with Chelsea, brought the victory for Denmark.
Later in the evening, at 9 p.m. at the Brentford Community Stadium, the group B squatter is on the program between Germany and Spain.
