Estelle Cruijff is extremely surprised that she appears in Martien Meiland’s biography. According to her, nothing at all is true of what he claims. “Nothing has happened at all.”
Martien Meiland published a much-discussed biography more than a year and a half ago, in which a number of well-known Dutch people were also hit. For example, he called Carlo Boszhard ‘a setback’. The RTL star would not have greeted him when he came to his store. “Then I think: what kind of one are you?”
Estelle responds
And Estelle Cruijff also got a kick out of it. “I met him once in the bar. There she sat with Leco van Zadelhoff. I have nothing to do with that woman. Just a feeling. I can’t explain that,” said Martien.
A year and a half later, Estelle returns in the Story. “I’ve never met that man. Nothing happened between us,” she says now.

Estelle is far from the only one who says that Martien’s statements are incorrect. Richard van Roon, Martien’s former boss, also states that the reality star regularly plays with the truth. He is extensively interviewed about this in the latest Story.
Richard: “I was surprised to read the passages in Martien’s biography. I don’t identify with his description at all. In fact, I confronted Martien with the inaccuracies after I had read the book. He then indicated that he would remove it in the second edition.”
Shocking things
Martien has to be a bit careful with what he says, because according to Richard there are still enough corpses in his closet. ‘Shocking events’ would have taken place during the time that Martien worked for him.
Richard is keeping it a secret for now. “I don’t feel the need to publicly shame Martien. I keep the credit to myself, and I don’t want to be known as a resentful ex-employer.”
