The future of the Polish top scorer with the German record champions is still unclear. For the future, however, FC Bayern should want to plan ahead – and apparently has the England star in their sights.
Squad planning at FC Bayern Munich is progressing – and will continue beyond the coming season. In focus: The attack – and the future of Robert Lewandowski. It is still unclear whether the Polish striker will stay in Munich until the end of his contract in 2023 or whether he will leave the club this summer.
For next summer, however, Bayern should have a real top-class successor to Lewandowski in their sights: star striker Harry Kane from Tottenham Hotspur. This reports the “Kicker”. The 28-year-old, like “Lewy”, is currently one of the best attackers in the world – and still has a contract with the top Premier League club until 2024. In order to achieve a fee, “Spurs” would have to sign the English international in the summer sell in 2023.
According to the report, a Kane obligation in the event of Lewandowski’s departure in 2022 is ruled out – with a current market value of EUR 90 million, a purchase this year should be too expensive for Bayern.
The fronts between the German record champions and Lewandowski have hardened further, the player wants to switch to FC Barcelona, Bayern continue to insist on staying until the contract expires on June 30, 2023.
