Bang urge is big at Cactusfestvial after two corona years

Doors open at 4 p.m., and music lovers are clearly very hungry. After two years without, there is finally another Cactus festival. The setting in the Minnewater Park remains unique. For many people from Bruges, this is the real start of the summer and the holiday.

Almost sold out

Cactusweekend is almost sold out, and that has a lot to do with the rock-solid poster. Tonight Robert Plant and Alison Krauss and Belle and Sebastian are the headliners, this weekend you can still enjoy the sounds of Ben Harper, Richard Hawley and Balthazar.

The organization is satisfied with the ticket sales. There are still a few day tickets for Saturday and Sunday. They expect a good 20,000 visitors this weekend.

The Malian band Tamikrest can open the festival. Normally they play a little later in the evening, but they are happy to be able to play Cactus and perform in front of an audience.
