Boris Johnson is no longer Prime Minister of Great Britain. A Premier League club has a ‘proposal’ for the successor.
On Friday morning, the Premier League club posted a photo showing a banner on stadium seats. The banner reads: “Tuchel for PM (Prime Minister).”
Chelsea were alluding to Britain’s new prime minister and jokingly suggesting their own coach, Thomas Tuchel. In addition, the club wrote “It’s time” (in German: “It’s time”).
Tuchel has been the “Blues” coach since January 2021. The German coach won the Champions League in his first year with the club.
He is currently preparing for the new season.
