THE HAGUE – Due to a mistake, the municipality of The Hague has paid out 4.24 million euros too much in subsidies. The money ended up with 66 foundations and seven people. But the municipality assumes that the mistake will ultimately not cost any money. The largest part can be offset against subsequent subsidies, and the rest has already been repaid in full, The Hague explains on Tuesday.
