FC Bayern loses top talent to Juventus

Young player Kenan Yildiz spent his entire football training with the German record winner FC Bayern. But the Regensburg native wants to make his breakthrough abroad. A change is emerging.

Kenan Yildiz wants to break up his tent at FC Bayern Munich this summer. The U19 player of the series champions has not extended his contract, which expires at the end of June. The offensive talent will therefore leave FC Bayern without a transfer fee.

As sports reporter Fabrizio Romano now reports, a change to Italy’s record champions Juventus Turin is becoming more and more likely. The “old lady” is currently leading the race for the just 17-year-old. The Spanish top club FC Barcelona, which was linked to Yildiz last winter, only have outsider chances.

As the portals “spox” and “goal” report, Yildiz is not intended for the professionals at Juventus for the time being. The midfielder is supposed to support the junior team, but he could possibly also play for the U23 team in the third-rate Serie C.

Does FC Bayern still have a chance?

While, according to Romano, staying at Bayern is now almost impossible, according to “goal” there is still some hope for Munich. The move to Italy is not one hundred percent decided.

Yildiz took his first steps in football in the youth department of Jahn Regensburg. Already at the age of seven he moved to Bayern in 2012. The two-footed playmaker feels most comfortable in the ten position. But the 17-year-old can also play on both wings, and his flexibility is a big plus.

In the past season, Yildiz played a total of 13 games for the Munich U19s and nine more for the U17s. The youngster has been a Turkish junior international since 2021.
