How to watch the tournament in England live on TV

The European Women’s Championship begins on July 6th. t-online tells you how you can follow the tournament live on television.

On Wednesday, July 6, the Women’s European Championship kicks off in England with the hosts’ opening game against Austria. There are a total of four groups at the European Championships, each with four teams. The top two in the group advance to the quarter-finals, from then on the classic knockout mode is played.

The German women’s national team will play their first game of the tournament on Friday (9 p.m.) against Denmark. In the further course of the preliminary round, the team of coach Martina Voss-Tecklenburg meets Spain and Finland. In the last test match before the start of the tournament, the DFB-Elf convincingly won 7-0 against Switzerland (read more about this here). Where are the EM games on TV?

ARD and ZDF will broadcast all 31 games of the European Championship – but not on linear television. For example, the opening match between England and Austria will be broadcast by ARD. However, there are also many games that can only be viewed live on the website of the public broadcaster. All games can also be seen on the streaming channel DAZN, where highlight clips are also available after the duels have been played.
