But in Argentina everything is usually the other way around.
Therefore, on Wednesday, the Undersecretary of Energy Planning reported the requirements that users must complete to maintain the subsidy. And they clarified that they will take into account the data of income, assets and family composition to determine who will be responsible for paying a lower rate.
According to the authorities, the form has the weight of “sworn declaration” and seeks to determine if the applicant rents or owns a home, and the socioeconomic level. But the most striking thing is that everyone must sign up, even those who have low incomes and rent, because they could lose it.
Important: have at hand the DNI and electricity and gas bills, since data from them will be requested. And the request can be made digitally, by entering https://www.argentina.gob.ar/subsidios; or in person at the offices of the National Social Security Administration (ANSES). It is worth clarifying that, once the form has been filled out and the information analyzed, they will confirm the resolution taken regarding said request.
