Switzerland is having a disappointing start to the World Cup. The Swiss lead for a long time and are overwhelmingly superior, but Qatar pulls off a shock in stoppage time.

Switzerland only played 1-1 (1-0) in the first game of the World Cup in the USA, Canada and Mexico. Coach Murat Yakin’s team led for a long time after a penalty goal from Breel Embolo (17th). However, the increased chances did not result in the second goal.

Until the end, the Swiss team had a goal-scoring ratio of 25:7, but they were unable to score a second goal. Rather, Qatar’s Boualem Khoukhi shocked the Swiss in the fourth minute of injury time and scored the equalizer.
