Levi Rigters from Amsterdam will soon enter the ring again. On October 8, he will do so during Collision 4 of martial arts organization Glory. “I know I’m going to fight that day, but I don’t have an opponent yet,” says Rigters.
Rigters hopes he will soon know who he will be up against. “Then you can adjust your training sessions accordingly. At least two months in advance, I want to know who my opponent is.”
Riots in Belgium
In March, Levi Rigters would take on Jamal Ben Saddik during Glory 80. Before that match broke riot inside the stadium, causing the event to be cancelled. “You have been working towards that moment for months. I was completely ready and was about to go to the ring. At that moment we saw that it was going wrong. Then we were told that it was no longer going on and then you fall into a deep valley,” says Rigters.
