1. FC Union has won its first friendly in preparation for the coming Bundesliga season. The Irons prevailed on Wednesday evening 3-1 (2-0) at third division relegated Viktoria Berlin.

In front of 2324 visitors in the Jahn-Sportpark, Sven Michel scored twice with a brace (1st/35th minute) and Andreas Voglsammer (59th) for the first division team, who competed in the third jersey presented on Wednesday.

The five internationals Genki Haraguchi (Japan), Julian Ryerson (Norway), Andras Schäfer (Hungary), Christopher Trimmel (Austria) and Tymoteusz Puchacz (Poland) have not yet played.
