The vanguard published this Wednesday an article in which juicy details are given about one of the most expensive buildings ever sold in Barcelona. It is the built in Paseo de Gracia corner with Diagonaljust above SEATand has been built by Mandarin Oriental Residencesa company that offers 20 flats in which there are 34 luxury residences after investing 160 million euros in its construction.
The aforementioned newspaper confirms that a total of 15 residences have already been soldand the rest would be finished commercializing before the end of 2022: “half are international clients and the other half national or Spanish living abroad“. Among the buyers, an elite athlete, two families and two retirees.
The sale price is more than 40 million euros, something that would place the cost per square meter at 60,000 euros. Without a doubt, a record figure in Barcelona, and which places this area of the city as the true Catalan golden mile.
