★★★★ This four episode miniseries is the story of a young black man accused of murdering his partner. He decides to represent himself. And that allows you to retell his story from the beginning. A bit like the classic The Crime of Mr. Lange by Jean Renoir, but with a much more violent story, what it is about beyond the obvious intention of telling a social drama and pointing out racism or discrimination is to approach the possibilities of the way of telling something. Of how more than the facts, in certain circumstances the interpretation of the facts matters more. Is it possible that the spectators finally fall into a trap or are we accessing the truth within the fiction? Much more than the twists and turns of the story, which are various and many of them interesting, what matters is this subtle reflection on the art of storytelling and its meaning.
