On Friday evening, federal police officers arrested five suspects who had smeared the facade of the Federal Chancellery.
As the police announced on Saturday, shortly after 6 p.m. on the south side of the Federal Chancellery on Willy-Brandt-Strasse, officials noticed a group of four painting slogans on the facade with a brush.
The people spread the rest of the wall paint over the wall. Shortly thereafter, a suspect is said to have sprayed another slogan on the north side of the building with a spray can.
Both the 22-year-old on the north side of the house and three women aged 22 and 26 and a 21-year-old man were arrested. The greasers are now being investigated on suspicion of property damage.
