The Bundestag has expanded the options for online certification of registrations in the commercial register.
With the amendment to the law passed late Thursday evening, the previous restriction to certain types of company, such as stock corporations or sole proprietorships, will be lifted. The reform also makes it easier to notarize online when founding a GmbH and when changing the articles of association, including an increase or decrease in the share capital. (dpa)
