Iltalehti evaluates the novelty sausages of the summer in a large sausage test.
The sausages in Iltalehti’s large sausage test were all tasted blind. There was a four-person jury tasting the meat sausages, which scored the sausages on a scale of 1 to 10.
The sausages were grilled on a charcoal grill. The winner was the new Transylvanian Valentino in the HK Maakarit series, flavored with garlic and cheddar.
Smoky was the second and third place in the trend, as Snellman’s Eetvartti Savu was second in the blind test and the Grillimaister Loimuava Smupaprika sold in Lidle was third. Fourth place was shared by as many as three different sausages.
