Leicester City made it to the top of the table in the English Premier League for at least 24 hours. However, the Foxes did not get more than 1-1 (1-0) at Aston Villa, bottom of the table. After the lead by ex-Mainzer Shinji Okazaki (28th minute), Leicester’s Riyad Mahrez missed the preliminary decision when he failed five minutes later with a penalty kick at Villa keeper Mark Bunn. But Rudy Gestede scored a 1:1 equalizer fifteen minutes before the end. With 44 points, the Foxes are the leaders for the time being. Arsenal can overtake again with a draw in Stoke on Sunday.
