Media figure Kim Kardashian, 41, was caught in the midst of a so-called dress uproar after the Met gala and was accused of destroying Marilyn Monroe’s iconic evening gown. Now Kardashian has taken a stand in a recent interview with Today.
Reporter Hoda Kotb asks Kardashian if the allegations of ruining the dress are true.
– No. There was an assistant on site who helped me live around me.
Kardashian also said he wore a genuine dress at the gala for only a short time. He then switched to a copy of the dress. The woman says she was very happy to get Monroe’s dress on loan, as not all of her young fans know who Monroe was.
– It was most shocking to me. I respect her and understand how much this dress means to American history.

Also, the museum that borrowed the dress confirmed to TMZ that Kardashian did not damage the evening gown. A representative of the museum told what a report prepared in 2017 already revealed about the condition of the dress.
– Several seams hang. This is no surprise, given how delicate the material is.
The report also revealed that traces of use can be seen especially on the back of the dress. The museum acquired an evening gown for its collections in 2016 for a whopping $ 4.8 million, or more than four million euros.
A spokesman for the museum said the evening gown has since been showcased around the world. This process has also compromised the damage to the dress. Museum Cost Director Amanda Joiner was with Kardashia at the Met Gala from start to finish and he also assures that the dress was returned to the museum in the same condition.
