Luckily, the nearest fire station isn’t far away: Rescue workers from the Berlin fire brigade had to go to Berghain again and again on Monday mornings.

It’s only a few hundred meters from her guard on Rüdersdorfer Strasse to the techno club at Wriezen station.

The helpers had to drive the route several times on Monday morning between 1 a.m. and 7 a.m. An ambulance kept rolling into the club’s yard.

Two visitors had to be treated for breathing problems and one for excessive alcohol consumption. According to a fire department spokesman, another guest had passed out, and another had been injured in a fall.

All five patients were then taken to hospital as a precaution.
