Shots fired during arrests in Brabant Woensdrecht
The police arrested a total of six people in Woensdrecht and Bergen op Zoom in Brabant on Sunday evening after the theft of a dirt bike. During one of the arrests, an officer fired a warning shot, one of the suspects also allegedly fired, according to the police.
In the Koepelstraat in Bergen op Zoom, the motorcycle was stolen during a house robbery. Bystanders were able to arrest one of the suspected perpetrators in Lekstraat and hand it over to the police. Officers arrested two other suspects in that location.
Three more suspects were arrested in Woensdrecht, further away. The shots would have been fired. A dirt bike was also found there. It is being investigated whether it concerns the stolen copy.
