Sixteen sheep bitten by dogs in Rosmalen nature reserve

Three dogs killed thirteen sheep in the Binckhorst nature reserve in Rosmalen on Sunday morning. Three other animals were also attacked and were in such bad shape that they had to be put out of their misery by officers.

The dogs have been confiscated. The Public Prosecution Service decides what happens next to the animals.

The sheep are owned by a petting zoo nearby and ran loose in the nature reserve, which is freely accessible. The owner of the petting zoo has filed a complaint against the owner of the dogs.

The dead animals are removed by a company.
