Serious accident by wrong-way driver on A28, several injured
On the A28, near Hooghalen in Drenthe, a serious accident happened in the night from Saturday to Sunday around 00.40 hours. Several people were injured, two of them seriously. A police spokesman said several vehicles were involved in a head-on collision caused by a wrong-way driver.
The highway is closed in both directions and traffic is being diverted. The police are investigating the cause.
