With 50 bobby cars and pure leg strength, singer Joey Kelly and his fellow campaigners pulled the Kelly Family’s famous double-decker bus 50 meters – setting a world record.
The record institute for Germany accompanied the action of the 49-year-old according to the Europa-Park in Rust near Freiburg on Friday in the visitor car park of Germany’s largest amusement park. Official title: “The heaviest weight pulled 50 meters by 50 bobby cars”.

The bus weighs almost ten tons, but the superlative is intended more for imitators: According to a spokeswoman, 50 bobby cars have never pulled anything 50 meters under the eyes of record observers. So there is still no record that Kelly and Co. could have broken.

The occasion was the 50th birthday of the traditional Bobby-Car brand from Big-Spielwarenfabrik. They presented the traditional red push car for toddlers in 1972 at the Nuremberg Toy Fair.
