Warriors do it again in NBA: ‘This title feels different from the other’ | Sport

The Warriors won 103–90 in their sixth final game against the Boston Celtics. With that, the final series ended in 4 games won for the San Francisco team and two for the Celtics.

It is the Warriors’ seventh title since the league began in 1946, then known as the Basketball Association of America. The ‘Dubs’, as the team is also known by fans, won the title in 1947, 1956, 1975, 2015, 2017, 2018 and 2022.

Stephen Curry was named best player in the final series. In the sixth game, the star player took no less than 34 points. Andrew Wiggins scored 18 points for the Warriors and Jordan Poole scored 15.

“Of course there are doubts sometimes,” said Curry. “You know how long the road is to get here. It is very difficult to take the title. We found a way to make it happen.”

Curry went on to win all four Golden State Warriors titles, as did Draymond Green and Klay Thompson. The trio sat arm in arm with all four fingers in the air at the award ceremony. “We’ve all worked on this for a long time,” said Curry. “Anyone who is a part of this knows what I mean. This title feels different from the others, absolutely.”
